Aldente Pasta in Palm Springs

This is just one of those places in Palm Springs that you have to go to. The food is absolutely delicious.I started dinner with the Insalata Tricolore. It had a nice basaltic vinaigrette. Scrumptious. Big serving. Could have shared the salad and still have plenty. For the main course, had the Pollo Parmaseano. OMG. I could eat that every night. The chicken fillet was super tender. The sauce was nice and robust with plenty of flavor. It came wit a side of sauted spinach and roasted potatoes. The spinach was amazing; plenty of garlic.It paired well with a nice glass of cabernet sauvignon. Great waiter too. Took good care of us.A mealbto remember

Very good selection of Italian dishes. Numerous pasta dishes to choose from as well as several starters to pick from.Good service as well will make your meal one to remember.

The food here was quite nice. The ambiance of the restaurant as a whole was pleasant, and the outdoor seating in the evening is very enjoyable. Nothing too fancy of special, but solid Italian food at reasonable prices. I would recommend it.

Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Al Dente was the only place open after a long day of flights and they did not disappoint. Service and food was incredible!

This is one.of my favorite Italian restaurants in the desert. The staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is incredible. My favorite is the Al Salmon. Delicious every single time! If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would! Such good food and great price.

Presentation is everything. When you cup that with taste and service, then I'm cookoo for Coco puffs. I'll be a regular here for sure.

My husband took me there as a surprise for our anniversary and the Food was Wonderful for the most part.Unfortunately they don't serve my favorite wine so after trying a couple of different ones I opted for just water. Also the reason for the 4 stars was the potatoes were Over done. For the price of the meal I would expect A bit better. But Overall the service was wonderful and I enjoyed my evening.

I recently took friends here for dinner and found both the food and the service to be excellent. Occasionally you experience an environment where everything is simpatico and everyone enjoys working together, the result of which is a superior product, that concept exemplifies Al dente. Dining there is a pleasure, the food quality excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

If you like bold and zesty Italian food Al dente is a terrific spot to dine. The lobster ravioli with pink sauce is delicious. Nice outdoor dining as well. I’ll definitely be back again!!!

This is what food was meant to be! The lemon caper sauce on the Salmon was excellent! Potatoes, spinach, the soup! Everything was great! And the ambiance with the music was so nice! I loved coming here and will be sure to return!

Terrible. The wine, terrible. The food tastes like air. Cheap tasting Italian food with no flair. Gross.

3.5 service but the food was delicious. We had salmon, ravioli, and chicken with artichoke. Excellent food, service a bit slow and couple of sides we had to ask about. Excellent presentation, all came together at proper temp. Nice job 👍

I hate to have to write a mediocre review, but everything about this place was just that, mediocre and bland. We started with a Caesar salad that tasted ok, but I wanted the lettuce to be colder. There’s nothing appealing about room temperature romaine. For our entrees we ordered a pesto and a primavera. The pesto dish tasted like eating pasta in a chopped grass sauce... like they used parsley to supplement the basil... It was just really bland and needed more salt. The primavera was a kind of bland cream sauce. I really wanted to like this place but the food was not a winner, so we likely won’t be back.

This was a cute eatery and quaint ambiance. My bff was in town for a conference so I met her in palm springs for some quality time. We were in the mood for italian and al dente seemed to fit the craving by looks. Our server was amazing with recommendations for everything. Food was exactly what we were craving and great quality. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for great italian in palm springs!

Very good Italian restaurant. Carbonara was perfect. Husband had the veal and said it was excellent. Caprese salad big enough to share and fresh and delicious. Don’t think twice- this one is simple but good.

Favourite restaurant in America. I’m a Canadian that has travelled to almost every state and this place takes the cake. Service was awesome and wait times were remarkable given the quality of the food. I will definitely make a point of returning next time I’m in the Palm Springs area. Loved the Alfredo and carbonara pasta. Thank you for a great experience!

Nice place to have supper. Good pasta but the risotto was not good. Don’t like the creamy pink sauce for risotto. Service is nice and rework for me.

The service was great. Our server Andrew and his table mate were awesome. The food was outstanding.

Me and my husband had such high hopes about this place (mainly because there is a restaurant with the same name in central London and it is one of our all time favourites! ) Unfortunately it wasn't a great meal, we ordered two pasta dishes - caprese and a seafood one - the pasta was overcooked (not al dented sadly!) and very bland (even though both came with insane amounts of garlic - I've never seen so much garlic in a dish!). They were also served way too quickly to have been made fresh. We were sat and had finished eating and paid all in less than half an hour.

Go for happy hour. One of the best outdoor seating areas if you like to people watch

Great Restaurant. Great and Attentive Hospitality and Service. Ambiance comforting and classy. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Fantastic experience...we will definitely be back. P.S. Try the Lobster Ravioli.

Are you Italian? Do you miss the taste of Italian cuisine? This is the right place to forget about all the horrible americanized Italian dishes and taste some properly made pasta. Highly recommended.

Service was prompt and friendly; food (including desserts) was plentiful and tasty. Finally prices were reasonable.

Delicious food! The entire staff was very attentive and their service was excellent. Don't miss their tiramisu. The only photo I have to share was an Aperol spritz....I was too busy devouring my meal to take photos. I thoroughly enjoyed Pollo Balsamico with a side of aglio olio spaghetti.

My family and I went to Palm Springs for the day and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I haven't had below standard food like this in a long time. I ordered the penne arrabiata and the sauce was right out of a can of tomatoes. I am not exaggerating. It was gross! The pasta that the other members of my family ordered was not any better. Even the appetizer was bad. And the waiter with his overwhelming cologne made things even worse. I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could.

We celebrated my brother' s birthday for lunch.Great place !!!! The food was amazing and our waiter Orlando was attentive and very graciously friendly.The Ceasar salad was fresh and the dressing so freshly made. My crab and lobster tortellini was delicious. The seafood pasta was plenty for my brother. He enjoyed every bite!We met the owner he was friendly. We shared family stories.We we delighted to have such a wonderful experience !!!!

Amazing food! They had a special Valentine's Day Menu that was OUTSTANDING. Barbara and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The bread and pasta was to die for. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try out the rest of the menu!

Kinda grungy. They serve up pretty decent Italian but the people who work there are horrible. Management is incompetent. Good wine selection. Save this place for the birds. Many places for Italian downtown.

Good service, reasonable prices, but meh food. Weak flavors, and boiled rice in a sauce is not risotto. Palm springs has many good restaurants, and I'd not return here.

Place was awesome. Got an outdoor seat. Waitress Nicole was very helpful and went through menu and helped pair wine with each dish etc. Always made sure you had refills and bread. All employees seemed nice. For food I went with Caprese salad and chicken parmigiana, they were both incredible. Will definitely go back next I'm in town.

The food was average at best. We ordered a salad and main course. After ordering and just getting the 1st glass of wine the main courses arrived. The salad was forgotten, no bread was offered. We rejected the main courses and Bread was then offered and the salad arrived in due course. That kind of rushed service I expect from Denny's but not a place like this. The prices are reasonable, however there are much better italian restaurants in town!

Salad had plain tomatoes but the main Salmon dish was Excellent!!!

It is the best Italian sophisticated experience in Palm Springs. Remind me my last trip to Italy. Costumer service is the best ! I had in the desert. Thank you guys to be wonderful !!!! I didn't have their names but it was a nice young lady and guys very well trained to give their best on the service they give.

Family time on this one. We had to wait because it was packed, but we sat at the bar and had drinks. The host was always reassuring and we got great seating after. The food was great. Wine paired well and service was continual and a pleasure.I think it’s worthwhile and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting top shelf Italian goodness.

Excellent service and delicious pasta. I had the pasta carbonara. Very fun to sit outside. The pasta bolognese was also very good.
